2026 Coast Little League

Welcome to Coast Little League, the official youth Little League Baseball program serving boys and girls ages 4-14 from Los Osos, Morro Bay, Cayucos and Cambria!

We are a non profit organization that relies on our parents to volunteer during the season. Each family will need to volunteer.

Scholarships are available. These scholarships cover the full cost of registration. Please visit Scholarship Info on website or email [email protected] for the application. You will receive a coupon code to register after submitting your application. We want everyone to play and have great sponsors and donors that will make that happen.

Registration OPENS on 11/26/2025 and closes on 01/24/2025.

Registration Fee is $145 for all divisions except Tee Ball. Tee Ball Registration is $100

Early Bird Discount: SAVE $30 if you register between 11/26/2024 and 12/31/2024.

Late Fee Registration: Late Fee of $20 charged for registrations 01/16/2025-01/24/2025.

Registration is CLOSED on 1/24/2025, no late registrations are accepted after 1/24/2025.

Practices start in February. Season starts March 14th and will end June 6th. CoastLL also participates in an All Star season which participates in the District tournament that takes place in June.

We’re excited to kick off the upcoming season and wanted to share important details about the assessment, draft, and placement process for players in our league. This process ensures that players are placed in the appropriate division based on their skill level, and provides a fair and competitive environment for all.

Assessment Day: January 24th

Who Needs to Attend:

-All players league age 8-14 are required to attend the assessments on January 25th.

-Players league age 7 are welcome to attend for a chance to be drafted into the AAA division.

-Players league age 8 that do not want to be considered for the AAA (Kid Pitch) division do not need to attend assessments. They will be automatically placed in the AA (Coach Pitch) division.

What to Expect:

The assessment will involve a series of drills to evaluate each player's skills in areas such as hitting, fielding, and throwing. This helps us assess each player's readiness for the different divisions and ensures they are placed in the most appropriate group for their development.

Draft & Placement:

AAA, Majors, and Intermediate Divisions:

After assessments, players league age 8-14 will be drafted into one of the following divisions based on their skill level:

AAA (Typically 8-10 year old players)
Majors (Typically 10-12 year old players)
Juniors Division (Typically 13-14 year old players)

AA (Coach Pitch):

If a player is not drafted into the AAA, Majors, or Intermediate divisions, they may be placed in the AA (Coach Pitch) division, which is designed for players still developing their skills in a more controlled environment.

League Age 7 Players:

While most 7-year-olds will be placed in AA, they are also welcome to attend the assessments for the opportunity to be considered for the AAA division. These players will be evaluated carefully and, if ready, could be drafted into the AAA division, depending on their performance.

Important Dates:

Assessment Date: January 24th
Drafts and Placement: After the assessment, players will be drafted, and teams will be announced shortly thereafter.
